Default What offset to clear Spoon Calipers?

I'm about to get some Gram Lights 57 Maximums in 17x7 for my Prelude but would also like to sport them on my ITR.

What offset should I get to clear the Spoon Calipers on my ITR?

Thanks in advance

Don't go by offset.... The Spoon calibers are very wide so it really depends on the spoke design.

The stock ITR wheels are +50 offset. It clears them no problem because the spokes bulge out. But many aftermarket wheels with lower offset (supposedly more room) would not clear, because the spokes are too straight.

my cuzzin had the 15 inch usdm itr rims on and they cleared spoon calipers, then when he switched to the 16 inch jdm itr ones, he had to get spacers

I thought they were in the +40s.

Any one have experience with 57 maximums?

No, 50.

JDM 16's need atleast a 5mm spacer. There is no way to tell without the wheel in hand.

The lower the offset, the better.

Don't be afraid to go down to +30 offset or lower.
