how much room needed to remove tranny?
well, you need it about 1-2 feet off the ground to make things easier. If you have a B series in your rex, I'M almost positive that you have to pull the engine with the trans due to clearance issues.....anyone know otherwise/?

i have a hydro b series in my rex, and i pulled the tranny with about one foot of clearance under the crossmember and left the engine in the car. the t-bracket just needed to be loosened and the engine was brought down about 1.5 inches. if its a d-series, theres no reason it should take more than 2-3 hours, and you can probably muscle it out without a jack. im a skinny dude and even i can shoulder a d series out.
a friend just told me to loosen the rear engine mount and let the engine hang down to remove the tranny, its actually in a honda guide that includes the b16a crx from japan, but its in english. so looks like letting the engine hang a bit will do the trick
