Default is this turbo any good? Not xspower ebay

It's not marked xs power or vecco or any of that stuff. I did find it on ebay though, and I guess it is pretty cheap for a turbo like that.

If it is garbage, how much can I expect to pay for a turbo like that?

that square stamp on the compressor housing would make me very suspicious where that turbo came from. Spect to pay between 450 and 550 for a original garret unit.

thats exactly what mine looked like. Payed 200 for it. It lasted a good 20K before the seals went. Then i bought another for $170 still going. The one that i blew im sending out to Blaast performance to get rebuilt for $250 though

The biggest problem I have seen with these turbos are the seals blowing out...these turbos have tendency to be unbalanced.

if you get the 170 dollar one you will have to grind down that square stamp on it which is isnt a big deal then you can just send it out to blaast performance and have it rebuilt for $250 so you have a reliable turbo for 420. heres blaast performance's website.
