Here is the first HyTech prototype for the RSX. We have three different versions that we have built. They all use the same upper half and three different lower halfs. They are a long tube tri-y pairing 1&4 and 2&3. One long tube pairing 1&2 and 3&4 and a 4 into 1. Dyno tuning next month with our own piggy back ECU systems to tune the fuel and timing.

They will be in line with the Type R header we build. They are expensive but they make the power to justify the cost. We use only USA stainless steel, aircraft grade. The material for our headers is as much as other companies sell their headers for. We are not a high volume company so we will not be building hundreds of these units. Pricing will be around 2,000 for a complete system. Including a resonator and muffler, that will compliment the headers we build.

he is, IMO, the only one who can back up the cost for that system. power WILL be made. 2k is a lot, but if you are going to do it, do it right the first time.

WTF??? 2ooo for a header? Well the gains better be amazing as **** for people to spend that much. 2ooo is a good stash of money you could use toward a turbo. hhmmm let me see. header or turbo? hhmmm.. TURBO!!!!!!. If the prices goes down on the header maybe i'll be more interested. like down to 4-5 hundred . But until then I think I will be leaning toward the turbo. Im not smoking crack so I know I will not be spending that much money for a header

the gains on the DC-2R are quite phenomenal if you ask me.. the header is well worth the money.

turbo = 5-6k if you want it safe.. + 2k in other random things you might need to buy...

Thats right no anti-reversion chambers. The way the i VETC works is it uses the reversion wave to fill the chamber. That helps reduce emmissions. We do not want to mess with that unless we disable the i VTEC. We will look at that in the future when we start doing engine parts for the RSX. So for now no anti-reversion chambers.

Heres my shops custom Header.....

The downpipe that comes off is actually pretty big. We will offer a DP as well and a straight through test pipe as well. It is Jet Hot coated and very affordable considering this runs us $100-$125 or so on every piece.

$500 is the price for this custom one off piece, do I have anyone interested???

Oops heres another pic

More Info coming later today....no one will believe the dyno numbers of an N/A RSX-S we have built.....(sinister laugh) and there is MUCH MUCH more to come considering it needs tuning. Yes it bolts up to stock downpipe but we also just made an aftermarket custom one as well. New topic coming soon

Pricing is most likely around where you would pay for a complete Mugen system...performance will be more than the Mugen...and quality is top notch...nice header John.

Dava - I asked him the same thing when I saw the header laying on the floor in John's office...I knew that there was a reason for it.
