how many feet of heat wrap to wrap a b series header?
Alright i'm looking at header wrap and companies sell different amounts of wrap from 15 feet lengths to 50 feet lengths. My b16b has the ctr header and i am just wondering aproximately how much wrap i will need to get the job done. If you going to say the wrap is a waste of time please don't post.

Thanks in advance guys,

Thanks in advance guys,
i guess it all depends on how you wrap it...take a tape measurer and try it, it wont be exact but will give you a good idea of where you stand...just remember to order slightly more than you think you will need....its always good to have a little extra than to come up short.
i bought a 50ft roll and had enough for two runners and the collector so i think about 75 should be fine i just bought another 50 roll to make sure but i gave the rest away and didnt even check how much was left(by collector i mean from it to the first bend so i really only had halve of two runners left to wrap)

the theory on thermo dynamics is that the hotter the air the better it flows. so in theory wrapping headers hold heat in causing the air inside to get hotter and flow faster. if it flow faster your engine produces power easier. Also if the heat is retained into your exhaust your under hood temps lower.
how much did u use here?
