Default DX tranny bolt up to ZC SOHC?

i am buying a SOHC ZC and i may just use my stock DX tranny to save the extra dough. I know my tranny has a 21 spline input shaft and it is out of an 88 crx dx. Will this bolt to any SOHC ZC i get or was there differents splines on the input shaft for different years? If so could i just check when i go to pick up the engine or will the dx tranny work no matter what year motor they give me?
Thanks for the help

As long as you use a clutch with the same amount of splines you'll be good to go.
