Default heat

This morning was pretty cold so i decided to turn on the heat to defrost the windows, but after driving for 5 minutes i notice my car wasnt getting any warmer. I realized the car wasnt blowing heat. It worked just last week. You guys have any suggestions on what it might be? I have a 2000 gsr

Your question isn't clear. What's the problem? If the temp guage isn't climbing to normal or you aren't getting enough heat from the heater, check your coolant level or replace your thermostat.

my bad... typo. I ment wasnt. And the thermostat climbs to normal. Just drove it around and it gets heat every once in a while. When i turn the settings off.. drive awhile then turn it back on i get heat. Then after awhile or turn the settings up to 4, it blows less heat then cold.

Check for air in the system. Otherwise, you may have a weak thermostat, malfunctioning heater control or core, or a circulation problem.(water pump)

I had that problem with a subaru one time after I changed the radiator and I had air in the system. I had to Burp the system. Does your fan blow air into the car even if it is not hot or does the fan stop blowing??

Make sure your heater valve is opening and closing properly. It is located in the engine compartment up against the firewall where the heater hoses connect. Have someone switch the temp control from cold to hot and see if the valve is opening and closing.
