I need to order a quaife lsd for my tranny and i'm not sure which part # I need, The sticker fell off my tranny long ago and I'm not sure which one it is, I searched and found nothing about 1'st gen b16 trannies with quaifes Here's my info:

First gen b16 cable tranny (probably a y1)
Says YSK on it like they all do but has a large '1' stamped next to it

Do I order lsd part # QDF1U?
Do any other internals need to be modified to fit the lsd? (bearings, ring gear, etc)

i'm not sure where you got your part number from but this is the number off quaifes website.

thats funny, I'm reading the quaife website right now and the part number says QDF1U

Looks like the QDF1U covers a lot of different transmissions including the one you mentioned so I guess that must be the one...
