hey ht members, i am about to purchase a white ek and i was wondering what kind of rims to get on it, though i am clueless. except for the black slipstreams which i do not really want. pics would be great thanks!

 

Its really up to you. Try the search button or the appearance forum, you can find countless white hondas on there.

 

This would be more appropriate in the Appearance forum but I have Integra Meshes on my EK and they look pretty sweet (when clean).

I know but they are all I have. Going to Junkyard when I have money to get OEM. Used to not have any at all for the longest. I had these layin around when I bought the car.

Haha!! Actually my car is lower than stock. It's ridin on H&R OE Sports. Bought it with stock springs cut 3 inches. They weren't cut very evenly either. Certain parts of the car sat lower than others. I may rip the coil-overs outta my wrecked EJ1 when I think about or buy H&R Sports or Races. Again side skirts will be gone after I buy some OEM ones.

Ok some ricer that beat the ****** **** out the car had it before me. He put the skirts on. They fell off. I put them back on not too long ago cause my car looked like *** without skirts at all. You think my car is ugly that's your opinion, but it's a project and I'm poor. I'm tryin to make it not ugly. Most of the **** wrong with it is courtesy of the ricer that had it 2 owners back previous owner had the same plans as me but couldn't do it.

I bought the car with the bumper in the back of it (color doesn't even match any way), grille detached, one skirt in the back of the car and the other hanging by a thread, 13 inch steelies with bald *** tires, fucked up ricer fake CF mirrors, silver painted interior trim (all replaced with untouched gray pieces). This car looks ****** gorgeous compared tho the utterly shitty condition I bought it in. I'm in the process of returning most stuff to either USDM or JDM OEM.

Even still I need to replace the front bumper and fenders due to all kinds of fucked up mounts and the hood due to the fact it's just shitty.

Oh and EK_Stunna, love your car man. The meshes look great on you car.

I guess I wasn't so much asking why they were on there, but rather what happened to them, they look melted or something catastrophic like that.

I think the EP3 type R's look good. These are a 17'' 5 lug in champ white or silver for the EP3, but enkei also made them in a silver 16'' 4x100
(this is just an ms-paint job to see them on my car)


The European ITR wheels look incredible, but were only available as a 5lug
(not my car feel free to ask me to remove it if its yours)


I personally am running the 99-00 Civic SI wheels, which I think look good if the car is nice and low (mine is now low but was not in this pic about a year ago)

Nah it wasn't you, I just felt like explaining one more time about the skirts. I didn't particularly appreciate the ones sayin my car was ugly and sayin that it was the worst car they've ever seen when god knows it ain't. There's constructive criticism then there's just bein a dick, but I digress. I have no idea what happened to the skirts. I honestly think they are EG skirts cause they are just a tad short. Whoever drilled the holes for the lip and the skirts musta have been retarded cause none of that **** fits right. I wanna find whoever ****** ruined this car and bitch slap them for it. The only thing they did right was put a B16 in it then fucked everything else up. God I can't wait to get a decent job so I can make this car look nice like it deserves.

I actually have one OEM skirt but no mounting hardware for it. I may try to get it on there and take some pics of that one side to see how it improves the look.

*Oh the skirts are from a body kit I think, I ****** hate body kits on Civics with a burning passion.

 

man don't even sweat it. i'm sure everyone been through the same problem at one point when their car was all jacked up in the first place. i'm not sayin yours is at the moment, but you get what i mean. other then that sideskirt, your car has potential.

in the long run, i'm sure you'll show everyone, whenever you get your car done the way YOU want it.
