No check engine light? Are you loosing any oil? Were you mashing on the throttle?

You may be running a bit on the rich side. How to fix this? I'm not sure. I had this

happened to my sedan. Tested the emissions, everything came out fine. It never gave

me any problems.

if you pull you spark plugs see what color they are and i know in the haynes book for mine it show diff. kind of spark plugs and tell you what could be the problem. but it would hurt to pull them and check them out. but o2 are only like $15 at auto zone

black smoke is unburnt fuel...

CHECK:
-fuel filter
-plugs
-air filter
-02 sensor (although they only control AF during part throttle)

It should have nothing to do with oil.

Check o2 sensors, fuel filter, cat, etc, check your plugs see what color they are.

edit; i see ppl have already told you that, and you have done it.

plugs dont seem to bad if they have alot of miles on them. replace them and cap and rotor while your at it. and o2 sensors. see if it fixes it, if not take ur cat off and inspect it

is your air filter crappy?? Have you been getting bad mileage?? Does your car seem to have less power??

Check those things i listed and you should find your problem....if not, you there is something wrong w/ one of your cats or possibly the EVAP system....although i really doubt the latter
