Default Noise in transmission can anyone Identify this noise

Like topic states I have this noise in my si trans when you give it gas there is a off and on whirring noise. If you watch the file I recorded the sound on the way home from work last night just turn the volume up and you here it off and on. Any input would be appreciated its a new clutch kit and flywheel with new pilot bearing and Throwout bearing and has done this for the last 3 months and it seems to be more pronounced aroun 30 to 40mph. Let off the gas no noise give it gas and this is what you hear.

Check the level of your tranny fluid. But if it is indeed the tranny, and you hear a whirring, grinding noise, your problem is this:

Bearings inside the tranny could be shot, common thing to happen in aging trannies.

When it's one specific gear it has to do with the gears themelves. Your first gear set is more then likely damaged. When it's progressive, thru out the tranny, it's the tranny bearings.

Sounds like some bearing noise to me Is it when you apply the Gas or on Decel? Check all obvious...even down to intake noise.

I had a customer with one of those cheap intakes that mysteriously whistled and he thought it was his transmission going out..LOL
