CRX Hid / retrofit
does anybody have any pics or ideas as far as retrofitting HID's in a crx... i got a set of HID's but dont want to blind oncoming traffic.
if no pics on retrofitting projectors, then how about glare shields?

I did, i only found one pic of a jdm hatch with retrofits but i cant find anything anymore.. searched over and over.. found retrofits for integras but its way diffrerent for the ED's and EF's

look at the ef dicussion thread in the appearance,cosemtic forum. one guy just posted a e46 (bmw) hid retrofit into a stock EF headlight. look at the last page

thanks for that link... I saw that one and somebody else has another one with z cut off mods and all.. but i really want to try and keep the headlights as stock looking as possible but w/ hid's , projectors, and glare shields . but havent found anybody , and thanks for the one on the appearance forum, but those arent stock headlights they are they ebay ones but not in black w/o halos'...

I wonder if you could pull apart a JDM light fill down the plastic ridges, and then sand, and buff till they are golden? That way you would have an unobstructed HID beam. My one friend has HIDs in his 02 Porsche 911 Turbo, and I used to have Hids in my JDM lights it was a world of difference in the proper light housing in comparison.
Just got the new Honda-Tuning and they are covering how to do it.. just in time as i already took my lights apart but sanding them smooth has turned out to be alot tougher then it looks .. or at least i dont have all the right tools yet... i have a dremel but the glass is thick! i'll post some pictures later( i only have pictures of the lights before baking and taken apart.

they just sanded it down to fine grit and then used scratch remover to polish it up.. they did it on a RL older one obviously.. i dont have a scanner but i'll try to take some pics with my camera.

also from what i understand there are 2 types of projectors ones for HID lights and other for the regular halogens.
