I got a couple questions actually, Im planning on sumping and baffling my stock tank and using an external pump. The questions are what will I need to do to still have my stock fuel gauge to work and where is the best place to mount the pump close to the tank or close to the motor. TIA

Close to the tank. Plus check the ability of the pump to "lift" fuel.

 

and now for the ability to still use the stock fuel level gauge?
