Default Someone help me with interior color please

hey guys, i have a dark green accord with an ugly tan color interior, its not ugly but like i dont like the color, any ideas to change it to black? something/somewhere cheap? i would love to change my interior to black and i was wondering if that is possible. please get back at me. thank you so much honda-tech.

There never was a black interior for our cars, just gray

you can paint, vinyl dye, etc

Changing all the interior would be a huge undertaking if you want it to look OEM....new seats, dash, headliner, door panels, etc, etc, etc.
I'd seriously consider just leaving it as is. Your time would be better spent to just sell your car and buy one with the interior color you like if it's that big of a deal.

well the seat isnt a problem because i have seat covers for everything. the only thing i have that is a problem is.. the rug/dashboard/door thats it im assuming and the center console

also the fact that somewhat my interior is all messed up because majority of the interior there was built from parts from junk yard because i bought the car total'd and i fixed it to look okay but just interior bothers me.

its going to be bank to do since i got quote 500+ for everything to get black....since its a pain in the butt to take everything off but as for the rug you can dye it...and there is interior paint...or check out the local junk yard for the grey interior

gray is the closest to black OEM accords came to

Vinyl Dye will take care of alot of the plastics in the car

Fabric Dye/Paint can do the rest of it

In the A/C forum someone converted their tan interior black recently in a DA teg, I would try to find that topic I believe he listed all the parts he used as well to do it

No, you can not powder coat plastic or fabric.

Look in your yellow pages under upholsterers. You should see some that specifically mention automotive upholstery. In my town of just over 100,000 I see three upholsterers listed that mention automotive upholstery.

Call the ones in your area and ask what they charge. Post back with the answer, I'm curious.

i just did what u told me to do with the yellow pages, they said Vinyl Dye is bad or anything to paint inside ur car is BAD unless your EXTRA CAREFUL.
