I have an EK and would like to install recaro style seats/sliders. The only brackets I can get on short notice is the sparco. Would those work? Are there other options?

I found a nice how-to make a bracket out flat stock to mount onto OEM brackets, but they were based on EG brackets and it doesn't work coz the buckle side of the slider is a one piece side mount on the EK instead of the flat mount sliders.

I've been searching for awhile now and would like to have these seats installed in time for a 1200 mile trip coming up next week. 18-22 hours in stock seats is going to be anything but comfortable.

Any definitive information would be appreciated.

Bottom mount... So all I'm really looking for is a compatiable flat base... I wasn't too keen on the wedge design because it would sit the seat higher than I would like...

 

I measured the mounting holes on the slider and they're:

16" across
13 3/8" fore to aft

If that helps any...

 

I'm 75% sure sparco/vision rails fit recaros.

 

JHPUSA couldn't confirm if they did or not...
