no spark? F22B2
Ok just had the head off to fix a tweaked valve, upon reinstalling everything no spark and no fuel. Got no power at the fuel plug lead in the trunk. If the timing was off would i still have spark? And what could i have done to make the fuel pump have no power? Also if i run a jumper from 12v to the power side of the fuel pump, pump fires up. It's almost like something major is not getting power.... This car ran great untill the valve tweaked less then a week ago. In case any one needs this it is a 95 accord lx 2.2l non-vtec, sohc. any ideas?? similar problems? any ideas will help.~josh
oh and i checked all the fuses, incar and under hood....nothing poped

That's an F22B2 dude. You might get better help if you titled your thread with that instead of H22, the prelude motor.
Writing clearly helps too, that's hard as hell to read when you use run-ons and no caps. Sounds like something definitely isn't getting power, check the grounds on your fuel pump. You're going to have a spark as long as the distributor is getting turned. Sounds like you've isolated the problem to the fuel pump, shouldn't be too hard to figure out from there. You've got a break in the power to the pump somewhere between the pump and the fuse box, you have to find it.

Ya, sorry about the grammar, i was going on a 16 hour day with this car. Ya it's a f22b2 don't know what the $#@$ i was thinkin. But now i got some sleep and another day.....as for the spark issue i am going to test power to the coil and i report back with what i found. Mean while if any one else has any ideas i'm open ears!
if the timing is off, the spark will still fire. Like accord2021 said, check for breaks in the wire going to the fuel pump. However, if you dont have power to the coil, I know some cars lose coil power upon loss of fuel pump power....i'm not sure if accords do that because i've never ran into that problem.
well, i tested the main relay, it's fine. it has main power going to it, i fed 12v to the wire under the dash and the pump turned on. So that rules out a wire to the fuel pump.
how easy is it to burn out an ecm?
and even if it did toast i should still have spark right? i dunno....

wow, so many hours wasted!! all from a grounding strap put on the wrong bolt....checked everything i could think of, finally just started going though all the plugs one by one, and i noticed a grounding strap wasn't quite strait, and there happen to be a bolt next it that looked better so i switched em, started right up and purrrrrsssss..........it's always something like that every time i can't get a big project to start....something stupid.
