Default Milling Questions

I have a gsr in a eg and im trying to find a cheap way to increase hp.. I have the head off at the moment, n my local machine shop charges $45 to mill a head. How much should i shave off the head to gain some power and how hard is it going to be 2 do the timing without adjustable cam gears??

I think you mean .020, i sure as hope to hell you didnt mill it .200 . Anyway, youre probably just not getting adequate belt tension or something, or it had been previously milled and you went way past the service limit. Did you measure the head?
