I just need to know my engine code. My car is a 90 civic 1.4 with dual carb and 90hp.
I see everyone talking about b16... this and b23... that, and i wonder how can i know this??!!

i dont think theres any 1.4L made in that year or any years b4 that..

 

It is possible that this model was released only in europe? cause i'm from portugal and i can´t get any engine kit's or accessories in american wegpages.

 

If you want to run any fuel-injected engine in your car, you would have to buy an expensive stand alone engine managment system.

These can be found for roughly $1,300.00 or so for good ones, and for what you'll need out of it plan on spending no less than $1,000.00.

If I were you I'd just sell that car and buy another car that has a fuel-injected engine already in it. This way you can swap in the ever-popular B16A with little problems.
