Default Help with setup, please.

Hi guys, I've been searching the internet quite a bit to find someone with the same setup as me, but I haven't been able to find the answers I'm looking for.

I have a 1993 Civic Hatch Cx, with the D15B7 motor. I have ordered some parts : Skunk2 intake manifold, Kamikazee CAI, Skunk2 short throw, Megan Racing test pipe, Skunk2 cat-back, and DC 4:1 Ceramic header.

I figured that since my throttle body is 56mm, and the Intake Manifold is 62mm, I would want a bigger throttle body. Skunk2 offers a 60mm throttle body that would fit (only 2mm difference), but I don't know if I want to spend hundreds of dollars on a throttle body if I can swap in a stock Honda TB that would fit my motor (Unless it would be the BEST route). I was talking to one of my other Honda buddies, and he said that I may have a problem swapping because the Map sensor is on the firewall. Anyone have any advice? It would be MUCH appreciated.

I would like to add that I don't really have time to do any custom work, because this is my daily driver, but I want to have as much fun with pure bolt-ons as possible. Thanks again!

Well I need to know if I should go with a 62mm, something smaller, or something bigger?

Then once I figure out what size I should go with, I want to know which stock throttle body would swap and is the most desirable size.

So anyone who knows whats up, chime in! I'd be much appreciated.

nobody wants to see you throw all that cash on a **** ant motor, hence no one responding. all that money in bolt ons is 75% of the cost of a B16A

the civic CX motor tranny combo is the single slowest thing i have ever experienced next to a almost dead electric golf cart loaded down with 2 douchebags.

save up for a better platform that wasnt designed SOLELY to get 40+mpg.

1. You're the douchebag.
2. It's a Canadian Cx (American Dx), that's why I specifically said "A Cx with the D15B7 motor."
3. I'm doing a Z6 head swap.
4. This is a simple question. It shouldn't be THAT hard to answer real quick.
5. I'll be upping the compression when I do the head swap.
6. I KNOW fast cars. I'm not a dumbass. My buddy has a 1400whp Supra (THE fastest street driven supra in the states) that will whip any of your sorry Honda asses. I just want to have something that is as efficient as I can get it without a bunch of custom work right now.
7. You can go suck a dick.

are you 14? and youre completely correct, a D15 with a Z6 head on it and a few bolt ons pretty much puts EVERYONE in here to shame. we still cant figure out the BTACK.

Then go ask your buddy for help. I have plenty of buddies too, most of them campaign promod race cars. Does that make me cooler than you because I have buddies with faster cars than your buddies?

Welcome to the real world man, you asked for opinions/help and didn't hear what you wanted so you revert to 9th grade on us? Jesus man, he is telling you the truth. If your name ain't Bisi, you are wasting your time with a single 90% of the time.

Oh and for the "fastest in the states", I wonder what state that is, last month at tx2k7 in texas, a friend of mine's supra was outrun by only ONE car and it was a legit tech ready race car, Richards car was on 18 inch DR's.

Hmmm, where is this "fastest" Supra at for the biggest Supra meet in the US lol.

No, this was the 60-130 racing. It was an older mans car. 100% complete baller lol. He was out there with two Supras and two Vipers not one of which made less than 4 digit dyno numbers. His black "street car" viper had a plate that read 2000hp and it wasn't BS lol.

I believe the fastest car on the drag strip was Boost Logic. I will have to look at my old room mates videos again to be sure though. He has 8 hours of footage from the meet that he is editing together.

This Supra was built in texas and was at the show. I do need to add something, though. It's the fastest 6-speed street driven Supra in the states. SGP did a bunch of innovative 'never done before' work to his car at the price of him not having it for 2 years. He just got it back.

Now, let me get something straight. You guys must know a lot and have some experience, so why can't you just help me out a bit? I mean, what's so hard about that. You're seriously being a couple losers. Isn't help what forums are for? Not to expletive with other Honda enthusiasts like yourself. I clearly stated that I do not want to use a different platform, as this car is my daily driver. And I also stated that I want to have as much fun as possible with JUST bolt-ons, which a throttle body is. But after days and days of researching, I found out what I'm going to go with, instead of finding out within a day or two cause you losers decided to be dicks. Anyway, go expletive your mom for me. Thanks.

then, the guy who says this, retorts with this...

That's funny, Richards Supra is also a 6 speed, and 100% street car, so where did this car go in Texas? And what shop?

Because we built this one in NO SHOP but in Richards garage between 5 friends and a trip to Fla for Nero to dyno the thing and tune it at Titan. Other than that, never seen a shop.

Watch the tx2k7 video highlights, they are on the web. Notice the RSP Supra on 18 inch CCW's with the GT47R, it's #2 on the dyno list for the meet...... No shop, just a garage and a bunch of drunks

And dude, we tried to help you. You didn't want to listen, you tried to call us dicks, so on. Then you offered to watch me have sex with my mom. That's just RUDE!!!!!

you can use a gsr TB the map sensor shouldnt be on the firewall on your car only on DA and EF if it is they just extend the wire from the MAP sensor to the new one.
