88-89 integra d16a1 should fit.

You use a 88-89 integra d16a1 valve cover gasket for the DOHC ZC, so I'd like to think the VC is the same....

not 100% sure it will fit, so you may want to try before you buy.

I dont think this is right, i think the zc is different, I have a 87 integra cover which I think is the same as a 88 and it looks different

to be honest the holes seem like they would line up close...but i think the only safe option"if applicable" is find a DOHC ZC VC.

Ok did some digging around for you.

a d16a1 VC will NOT work. It uses the same gasket, but the mounting studs are in completely different locations.

You will need a valve cover from a Black Top dohc zc.
The older brown top zc's (that the d16a1 cover fits) will not work.

This is a brown top/d16a1.

alright....cuz i picked up the ls vc for like 10 bucks, so its officially for sale if ya'll want it, lol....

also for the zc swap, i've heard a lot of people tell me that i need to run a different ecu, like a pm7 or pg7, but im wondering if the factory ecu will work???

yes the pm6 stock ecu will work but wont run near as good as it would with a pm7 or pg7, those have the more aggressive air/fuel maps for that motor

PM6 = Good enough
PG7 = USDM D16A1, it's ok.
PM7 = The correct ecu, put hard to find.

A chipped PM6 with a PM7 map= the best.

Absolutely. And the vehicle will run just fine with a PM6, don't believe that your car will run like crap with it.

I say get the Rover VC that was offered to you, do something different .
