Default valve springs for a f23

Hello,
I am in a little bit of a pickle, i am currently building my f23 motor, and everything is assembled except for the head. I ordered some ferrea valve springs that ferrea says they will fit, but the machine shop swear they do not.

the valve springs are for a f22 motor, which i have seen done and put on the f23 head because they are almost identical heads.

What i need to know is if that is true, also if it is maybe some insight to the problem. One last question is if there is any other way to get valve springs for the f23 head, say a built head, or another way of doing it through another trusted company,

thanks i appreciate everyones help!

hmm, cause i just got off the phone with portflow and other places, and from what they told me the valve springs are too wide for the f23 head and they hit the spark plug tubes.

the guy at portflow says that they had the same problem and he believed (he wasn't sure tho) that they could've been d16 valve springs instead because they were hitting,

any help is greatly appreciated its the only thing holding me back from having the built motor going in my car!!!!

He has been talking to me about my head. Portflow never told me which springs they used for my head, but the valves are from the F22. If you have the stock springs I would measure them and contact portflow and see if they can match the info for you.
