I just picked up one of these for my Ek hatch i was just wondering what is the right way to install one because i've seen alot of then intalled a number of ways for example: which way should the pivot joint be facing?? pass side or drivers side and which way should it be mounted with the brackets on top of the bar or should the brackets be under the bar below are some pics of what i am talking about thanks in advance for your help guys..

To be honest I don't think it really matters. ...as long as it fits right and looks good to you. You won't feel a difference either way.
