Default zc people please look

i am getting a zc block for free today, i is stamped with ZC and nothing else, the guy says that the pistons say PM8 on them which are the HF pistons as far as i know.

is this a dohc block or the sohc, and can i use the z6 head with this block? why would it have pm8 pistons, he hasnt touched that motor

The dohc head will bolt up to any sohc d series block actually. As for the PM8 pistons I am 99% sure it is the sohc block. PM7 would be the dohc. ZC obviously is the JDM motor as with all of the JDM shortblocks they do not list anything after that ie; B18a, B18B, ZC, D15b not b18a1 or b18b etc.
