Nitrogen is supposedly better because it doesn't expand or contract as much as regular air when hot or cold. Not worth the $$$ places charge IMHO.

The nitrogen molecule is larger than a standard air molecule, hence, will not leak out "air" as easily

But thats stupid, regular cars don't have a two valve set up and they use nitrogen so how will that properly work and a regular wheel?

not supposedly, it is. great for the race track and pressure consistency.

Sure, if you can actually get in in a pure formt, the problem with the machines that these shops use is that they don't use pure nitrogen and some of them barely get it to where there is more nitrogen than there is naturally in the air (78% of our air is already Nitrogen). Sure, it makes sense for hardcore racers, and in aircraft tires, but on a street car it is not only a waste of money, but a performance fallacy, if you are too lazy to check your tire pressure frequently, you don't really care enough about your car to be called an enthusiast anyways.

Im sure it helps, but I'm pretty sure I'm breathing in 78% nitrogen right now as I type.

I did see it stated above ^^^^ Just wanted to make it reader friendly.
