gsr with type R hydro tranny into crx, what mounts?
Okay, not necessarily needing to know what brand, but....
do the cable and hydro tranny's have different mounting points on them? Avid racing has two different part numbers for crx's with a cable b series and a hydro b series.
yes i'm converting my crx to hydro, instead of swapping tranny cases cuz it seems easier.

the cable to hydro bracket isn't what i'm looking for.
i want to know what mounts I need, is the hydro side tranny mount different then the cable side tranny mount?

you are not making any sense. you said you dont need to know brands. some one says a brand and you shoot it down. Now you want to know a brand when someone has already said one

I don't need the Hasport cable to hydro conversion thing for the clutch though.
I'm putting in a hydro clutch master cylinder into my crx, and I just want to know what mounts I need to get the motor and tranny in there. gsr motor, type R tranny.
Sorry if i'm not making sense, but I meant brand doesn't matter, place racing, hasport, ect. ect. I just want to know my options cuz I don't know if the cable and hydro mounts mount up the same way.

You can use hasport hydro b-series MOUNTS, and just not use the hydro to cable conversion, thats what they are talking about. I dono if you can get teh mounts without the cable/hydro conversion bracket but you can allways sell it. Or any other mounts for a hydro b-series in an ef chassis you need a hydro trans mount they are not the same and it's the only difference between cable and hydro mounts.

Awesome. So is the rear bracket for a cable b series modifiable to work on the hydro b series? Like the one guy above said the bolts on the hydro are larger, so maybe I can drill out the cable bracket?

Woah that first one is super cool. I might go that route. I assume I don't have to mount the device where they suggest? Cuz my car won't have a lower radiator support. But I might also just go with the extra clutch pedal with master cylinder attached. I think tilton makes one.
