Default ZC trannys use different axles?

i am going to purchase the SOHC ZC witht the ZC tranny and i have been told that with my 88 crx dx i will need new axles, is this true? if so which ones?
the car is already converted to mpfi so is there anything else i will need to do this swap because from my understanding it is pretty straight forward.
thanks for the help

I have a sohc zc with zc tranny. if you want to spend less money just use your original dx tranny and axles they will bolt up to the zc block. because if you get the zzc tranny you will need da axles.which I think they are from like 87 integras. whatever you do dont try using your old axles with your new tranny. hope that helped

You need 90-91 teg shafts or 1st gen B16 shafts(same)AND a ZC intermediate shaft. 90-93 intermediate shaft will not work, I know for sure cause I've tried.

would autozone or kragen sell the intermediate shaft i need or would i have to go to a junkyard or maybe ebay?
is the zc intermediate shaft the only one i could use and what is the full list of options for axles with the zc tranny?

If you have the SOHC ZC engine & tranny with intermediate shaft you need the 90-93 Integra axles they will fall right in as long as you remove the metal dust seals from the spindles

I just did this yesterday so I know it works
