Can't figure out how to remove hatch struts...

Default Can't figure out how to remove hatch struts...

Like the title says...only one is bad, and I can't figure out how to get it off...need help please...did a search couldn't find anything of use...

Look where it connects to the car at the bottum. Its like a 17 or 15mm bolt somethin like that. Take that off, then theres a like 10 or 12mm on the hatch. You'l lhafta use a open end wrench.

yeah but then how do you attach the other one? don't you need that ball thingy?

I got mine off.....I think i just got on there with some pliers or somethin...I dont really remember.

They just pop right off. Use a screw driver or something and pry up a little right at the very end. They should pop right off.
