im sure its been asked before, but ive got the opp. to buy a euro dohc f22 vtec head- id like to know FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE if this is a possible swap on a 97 cl (f22b1), and if so, what timing belt, computer, head gasket, etc. would be necessary. any info (websites or info) would help. i dont want to pass this opprotunity up. also, if anyone knows the cc volume, id appreciate it.

yes it is..... fit's like F22s and H22s.....

 

thats a pretty neat motor, just consider since its a bit more rare, its harder to come by aftermarket parts. that is if you plan ondoing some modification other than the head swap. just throwing that out there. good luck, tho.

 

wait what.. which motor? f22 dohc vtec? theres the f20b and the jdm f22b that are dohc.. am i missing this one?

 

f22b - accord euro motor- im much more familiar with b series hondas, so this is new to me. so you all are saying the info in a h22 head on a f22 block is all i have to research? if its that simple, good. if not, i need all the info i can get.
