i read on here that somebody used a smaller alt. belt for aiding in clearing the frame on a b series swap, is this possible and if so what belt are you guys using for it?? will this cause any issues with the alt.? i reeeeally dont want to beat on my frame just for a half an inch of clearence.

im in the middle of mine, im in the preping the motor stage. i say just make the dent. your going to have to make clearence for not only the belt & pully also for the whole alternator.

 

anybody else have suggestions?
