just put together another motor d15b2 head d15b2 block, just something to get to work for a few weeks until I can put the turbo back on. Anyways, when I start it .. it sort of starts but then dies after a while, giving it gas does nothing. It doesnt rev up or anything. When I start it up it just goes "bop bop bop bop bop bop". im not sure if its out of time or what.. what would cause this?

 

Either you're out of time, or you got the firing order wrong. Check it, there is a mark for the number one spark plug wire on the distributor cap, then clockwise it goes 1-3-4-2. Check that out first.
