CRX engine swaps??
the easiest would be the ZC. u gain like 30 hp. next would prob be a b16. costs about twice as much but u gain twice as much HP. b16 isnt really that great with turbo or SC though. ZC would be better for that. you could always do an LS. im not sure how complicated that is but it cant be much worse than a b16
I agree, but there is more you can do. D16z6 motor swap is very similar to a d16a6 (Si motor), it bolts up to your existing tranny, and no new motor mounts are needed - but you need to wire up the VTEC (there's a few different ways to do it). Even better would be getting a Z6 block w/Y8 head & intake mani, higher compression with a more agressive vtec cam and better intake manifold. The Z6/Y8 combo (if done correctly) would weild stronger low & mid range power than the ZC.
Honda makes each series of motors very similar (D series, B series, etc) and you'd be amazed at the interchangeability of parts for each series.
As for me, I'm going ZC.
