First off, i have a golden eagle intake manifold, and skunk2 throttle body. I recently changed the throttle body back to oem because of problems with the S2 unit.

But when i put the stock one on I cant seem to adjust the cable properly. When i adjust it so that the plate is closed at 0% throttle, I can only get 55% open with pedal to the floor. If i adjust it so that it opens all the way, ill be sitting at 30% throttle without pushing the pedal. Any help would be appreciated. Do i need a different TB?

 

have you switched the tps between the throttle bodys?

if you did. did you adjusted the tps after the switch?

 

your TB does not need to open to be exactly horizontal if thats what you are saying

 

Well i can tell that its not all the way open, as i can open it further by hand by just turning the throttle plate. And i used the tps that came with this throttle body, which to my knowledge was already adjusted.

 

what problems were you having with the S2?

 

there are 2 adjustment scres ona throttle body. 1) is at the top it should be a flat head screw 2) is twoards the bottom, you cant see it, and it takes a alan key and 8mm i think. check it out. good luck

 

the s2 tb was sticky either stuck open, or stuck closed. I know how to adjust the cable, i dont think thats the problem.
