DX doors to EX doors.
I have a 92 DX hatch. Im wanting to upgrade to Power windows and locks. 1st Q. Will coupe doors fit on a hatch? 2ndQ. If so, Is it a direst plug and play? I looked at the fuse box and saw pins for the fuses and wires behind the pins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of swapping doors, you can just get all the wire harnesses/power window/lock mechanics. That would save you a lot of money.

It's not a difficult swap. Could be done on a saturday.

Yup. Just make sure you get complete parts, or you'll run into problems.

Yeah, that's very key.
If you get most of the way through and realize you don't have a part and it takes you a few days to source that part it really blows.

Well, it's always good to expect that some problems are going to occur. I can't recall anything I've done with my car, where I haven't ran into at least one small problem.

But will the ex wiring harness match up to my DX BCM? Im taking out all the stuff from the ex doors and keeping mine. Are all BCMs and fuse boxs the same that year? If so then no problem. Reason why I ask is because the car that i got the doors from is going to the crusher. I wanna make sure i dont have to get the harness from under the dash. Or change out fuse boxes.

OK, so say I got a really good deal on some power doors... what else do I need to make them work? (my DX hatch is all manual stuff)
Also, I know power lock/window conversions are cheaper, but what if I wanted to install power locks first, and then add on a mad alarm system... is that too much wire splicing and stuff, or will a competent technician be able to handle all that?
Opinions?
