As you all know, im having one hella of a time w/ the wiring in my shell. its a complete mess. The whole interior harness has been cut all the way to the tail lights. Also, the dash harness is also cut so i need to replace that aswell. Given the circumstances, it is really hard for me to find an 00 itr wiring harness but i did come across a 99 itr wiring harness. Im aware that 99 itr's weren't made in the US, but since its 0bd2 shoudn't it be compatable w/ my 00 itr? Any comments and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

 

I believe 99 is OBD2A and 00-01 is OBD2B. The 00-01 also have immobilizers, not sure if that makes a difference.

 

just talked ot my friend who is a wiring genius, and he says everything will plug right in, as long as you use the 99 ECU. (it is odb2a, 00-01 are odb2b)
The only thing is the 99 wireharness will NOT have the imobilizer wiring. which kind makes it easier for you anyway.
