what would be a fair price(from a shop) for a headgasket change on a b18C1? what do these run you now-a-days?
Im guessing around 3-500 depending on how much they rape you. Parts are cheap, but labor is lengthy.

lol thanks guys. this guy where I live wants to charge 1400 dollars! fricken crazy here in florida.
1400??!!!!!?? Holy **** that is crazy. You could rent a damn car to drive while yours is down, buy the tools needed, buy a manual and do it yourself and save 1k. I wouldn't pay more than 500. I think the gasket is like $50 dollars genuine oem and labor should take around 3-5 hours maybe @ about 70-80 an hour? *shrugs*
