Default Need infor on installing a Greddy turbo kit from 5th GEN into 4th GEN PRELUDE

I am about to make an offer to buy a used Greddy turbo bolt-on kit made for 5th GEN Prelude, I am installing this kit into my 92 PRELUDE with H22a swap with a chipped P28 ECU running uberdata. Anyone have any idea how much modification I need to to to get the installation to go smoothly, I think most of the parts will be direct bolt-on
do I need all new downpipe and all the intercooler pipes to be re made?
This Greddy kit comes with a blue box which control the bigger injector (370CC) and timing I think, will I be able to re-use that blue box in my 4th gen set up (ODBII vs ODBI I beleive) or I can run my chipped P28 and get the car re tune to the new turbo.
My main concern is can my car run properly without that blue box or a proper tuned of a chipped P28 running chrome or uberdata can replace that blue box.
thankyou for all your help

wow are you gonna love me

i just finished installing a 5th gen kit on my 4th gen, H23 tho. i needed to buy a different manifold due to the different engines, and the new manifold placed the wastegate differently, which screwed up the first charge piping. BUT since you already have an H22, the manifold, turbo, and piping should fit almost exactly. my kit routed the piping thru the washer fluid hole which i had to enlargen, then back thru the hole for a CAI, as i'm sure your kit will most likely be also.

the biggest PITA has been the downpipe tho. i had to notch a lil outta the front crossmember, but nothing too drastic. then i had an exhaust shop cut off the turbo flange on the downpipe and reweld it rotated like 5 degrees. then when i finally got the downpipe bolted onto the turbo which took like an hour of prying, it was touching the crossmember AND oil pan at the same time. nothing i can do to the fix that. the downpipe is also about 8 inches short of my cat, so i'll be able to fix all 3 problems with just getting a new downpipe made by an exhaust shop

and you wont need the blue box. your chipped ecu with crome (what i'm using) or uberdata should control both injectors and timing

nice helpful pics . . . are their any drawbacks to mounting the intercooler upside down?

I have the same fogs and like the idea but am worried about any drawbacks.
so you have a post with your setup/dyno i could look at?

i dont think so. i woulda mounted mine upside down so i could keep my fogs, but then i woulda had to cut, reweld, and rebend some of the piping, and i dont really have access to those kinda tools

no dyno yet cuz she's still not streetable yet (open downpipe and feed line blew off )
