Default AEM CAI

I just bought my AEM CAI for my EG hatch and I was just wondering how many tubes you are supposed to recieve I recieved 1 tube and I am just wondering if I am looking to maybe install the buy-pass valve how do I do that with just the 1 tube and where do I install it.

Thank you:

Mark

Just to clarify: take the tubing out from your engine bay if you installed it...

Then take a hacksaw and gently mark with a marker or something exactly where you want to cut.. Before you cut, buy the bypass valve and calculate how much you actually need to chop before you start cutting into the CAI tubing.. Then go for it!

Oh! and buy two rubber couplings to connect the bypass valve to the now 2 pieces of cold air intake tubing and also 2 straps to securely keep the valve from popping loose while driving.
