Default restoring an emblem, help!

I just bought a grill that i'm going to fit on to my accord, but the emblem came in a rough condition.

A lot of rock chips, and I can see some calcium deposits on it. How would i get it to be perfect again? I know i can strip the chrome off with bleach and paint it, but even then how would i get the mirror like chrome finish again? Is there any other way?

it looks chipped and you can't fix a uneven surface with ANY spray paint.

depends how deep is the scratch you might can get away with sanding. if not the worst case is bondo/pudding filler, primer, silverbase coat+duplicolor chrome spray

chips arent too deep at all, still going to do it the right way, by stripping the chrome plating off by allowing it to to soak in bleach for 3 days.

any more tips?
