i got the complete conversion from a 2000 civic si
i have a 1996 civic dx

i followed the diy thread on this topic but still stumped
everything behind the dash from the 2000 civic is in, along with wiring
but when i turn on the car and try adjusting the heater control, it doesn't work!
air blows at first, and air still blows when the car is turned off
its the only problem i have, cluster, radio, etc. works perfectly

can someone please help me??
anyone who has done this conversion please msg me, pictures can be taken also

 

You swapped out the entire heating system, correct?

 

yes! entire heating system
do you know what it could be?

 

theres a little actuator connected to a green plug on the bottom of the selector box. make sure its plugged in.

 

not sure man, check your wiring from A to Z. on the 95's there is a little thing under the dash that u can turn to adjust the heat.. im not sure how it is on the 96+ but check, could be a cable off somewhere

 

nah the 99-00 isnt cable driven. its all electronic. the only piece that has a cable at all is the one that runs to the valve inside the engine bay but it still uses an electronic actuator.
