Default Radiator Fan (jump start?)

Have a 96 integra GSR and Ive never seen or heard the fan kick on even on the hottest days. Granted, the engine temp never rises but I still want to see If I can jump the fan to the battery to make sure it works..

What is the best way to do this? Can't I just take two wires and connect them from the battery terminals to the plug coming off the fan?

YOU CAN DO THAT OR JUMP THE PLUG THAT GOES TO YOUR FAN SWITCH. YOUR FAN SHOULD TURN ON.

you can pull the relay in the under hood fuse box, and put a jumper across the 2 rear most terminals. no wire splicing this way.
