Default will my old distributor work?

i'm swapping in a complete 93 D16Z6 (with ecu) into my 90 dx hatch. the new engine doesn't have a distributor on it. can i use the distributor off of my d15 on the new engine with the new ecu?

i think you can but you need the distributor plug off the new engine or off a 88-91 Si

it will work if you use your 88-91 only if you still have dpfi.your stock duel point fuel injection.you need to do the mpfi swap.multi port fuel injection.you need a si ecu 88-91 a distrib from 88-91 civic crx si and the intake manifold ,throttle body, fuel rail, injectors, and the dx to zc or si diagram.

No you cann't use the Dx distributor with the V-tec ECU. You'll be missing the Cyl position sensor and the teeth on the 3 wheel are also different will not work. You can use you DX dis with the DX ecu (my opinion waste of time) or you'll have to get the Z6 dis.
