Default Alarm power door lock hookup

Hey winners, thanks to this wonderful forum I've managed to hookup all the features I want for the alarm beside the power door lock. I was wondering how does the power door lock on a 96-98 civic coupe operate? and how should i tap into it to wire in the power door lock and unlock feature of a DEI alarm?

Thanks in advance,

Neg trigger, tap the green/white & green/orange at the blue plug in the driver kick panel.

DEI alarms are the blue/green harness off the brain and do not require a relay for this application.

which wire on the blue plug are you referring to? so just tap the blue/green wire to the power lock wire? does it matter if im running the brain to the rear quarter panel area?

There should be a small white connector coming off the brain, out of which emerge a green wire and a blue wire. Those are the lock wires.

The green wire is the lock wire, which gets tapped into the green/white wire in the blue connector in the kick panel.

The blue wire is the unlock wire, which gets tapped into the green/orange wire in the blue connector in the kick panel.

The connections are the same regardless of where you place the brain.

However, if the car came equipped with factory keyless entry, you can also tap the wires at the security harness behind the factory radio.
