Yay or Nay to cluster mod
What you think. I changed my LS cluster up. ITS NOT TYPE R AMBER. It RED. The Amber is more of a orange tint. I like it and Im going to keep it either way, but im curious to know what you guys think.
I like it, but the only thing that bothers me about changing the bulbs in the back is that it's also the same color as the bulb where the odometer is, whereas a real cluster, it's white there and the cluster is amber. Sorry, I'm just **** like that

It's actually not too bad looking. Although I am partial to a pure white colored gauge panel. While my DB8 lights up white, it seriously lacks the light output and intensity of my RPS13 gauge (240sx Hatchback for those who don't speak Nissan) cluster.

I just noticed that... I also think this is the first time I have seen an LS cluster. I am so used to seeing the GS-R and Type-R clusters.

So did you just change the the bulbs behind the cluster to do this? If so, where did you get the bulbs? If not, what all did you do? I like it and I would like to try to do that to my LS. Thanks man.
Amazingly Advanced Auto parts had the exact bulbs i needed in red. I was like WOW. its the 3 main bulbs int he back of the cluster. thats all i changed.

It's alright, but I just don't like how the part of the tachometer that is indicated as redline and above kind of now blends in with all the other markings on the tach/speedo, instead of standing out.
So do yall know what part number the bulbs are or what exactally I need to look for? I want blue. What all do you have to remove to do this? I've never taken my cluster out before... I wouldnt think it would be too difficult, but sometimes I can be a dumbass! LoL! Thanks!
