opk so i have a 98 gsr im peiceing together a turbo but will be like a month before its on and tuned so im lookin for some free mods, i dont kno of ne but if u do post them up!!!!

well i have to do that to get the ramhorn mani to fit with the wastegate.....i dinnt kno if there was ne thing u can do with the emissions....? any other free mods?
Index the Spark Plugs
Catch Can (not exactly free, but close)
Lower temp thermostat (again, not quite free)
Hand porting on the IM/head
You can always steal some turbo parts.. Thats free

Man, unless you get creative just about everything costs money.
There was a good writeup on painting a valve cover. dude got the paint for 0.01 at autozone.
Strip the a/c all the way to the evaporator as well and get a grommet for the hole. They sell them at honda just find a non a/c model.

Cost of electricity aside, vacuum and otherwise clean the interior. Wash all of the excess dirt and crap off of the car, and wax the **** out of it so that it will cut through the air "like a streamlined butterfly". Keep up on your air pressure, drive with the wind rather than against it.

Get a skinnier girlfriend. Drive downhill with a tailwind. Keep your gas below a 1/8 tank. Tie a tow rope to the back of a Viper. Jack up the back of the car so you're always going downhill.

if you wanna lighten it up take off all the body panels, hood, windows etc. drive on bare frame and engine. itll look tight

get some washers from home depot or like store. washers=$.08 each. longer bolt. like a 15mm.take out the bolt closet to the window . put bolt and washer in. bam. raised up

Try any of those jdm threads, you will see plenty of hard parkers doing it.
