Default Any Teg Owners w/ B&M fuel pressure gauge

i noticed when i turn me car off, the needle in the gauge goes to zero but when its started and its running the needle goes to my set pressure of 46.

does anyone else have this prob?
do u think its the gauge and i need a new one?
what type of troubleshooting can I do?

any tips or suggestions/recommendations are appreciated

Holee **** Stick! Quick, don't drive your car! Take your WRX and leave it at my house along with the keys and a full tank of gas. I'll check it out.

Oh wait, it's the Teg. Never mind. Mine does the same thing. It's because there is no pressure in the fuel system when the car is off so the gauage drops. Totally normal mang! But feel free to leave your WRX at my house anytime. hehe!

i dont have any recent pics of the gauge but its the one u can order from summit racing.
B&M fuel gauge. bolts on to the fuel filter. i would recommend it so u know how much fuel press u have when dynoing. helps out with tuning.

Stick, when I don't drive it for a bit, the pressure goes down to 0. I don't feel it's anything you should worry about. But just in case, check that your gas cap has pressure (makes the psshhhtt sound) when you open it. If it doesn't you may need to chenge your gas cap. But I doubt that's a problem. We can sheck it out again some day soon but if you don't see or smell any gasoline, then you should be good to go. We used teflon tape so it shouldn't be leaking anyways. Let me know.

BTW, anytime you wanna bring the Rex up and give me a ride, just let me know. I'll make time for that! hehe!

TTYL,
Gary
