Default Please help with my unknown problem.

So, here's whats going on.
Got the car with a code 16, car uses up alot of gas, no leaks visable or smellable. Tank has been replaced, as the lines coming out of it, filler neck looks ok too, no drips on the driveway. Twice now, I've been about to pull away from a light and it stalls, very doubt it was my fault, then it wont crank over, I have to get out and push it a bit for it to re-start. Also, now I am experiencing a popping sound from the exhaust upon deceleration occasionally, and if I feather the gas up while idling, maybe to 1200k. The popping/rattling will occasionally happen at idle while stationary. It's a random sound which I dont think is the heat shield. Do any of these problems in conjunction with each other seem to be a problem any one has heard of? so quick summary:
-uses alot of fuel
-randomly shuts off once warmed up, sitting at a light, trying to pull off, then will not start unless pushed a bit and re-tried.
-popping (not loud) / rattling noise from the tailpipe at random times.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Chris

Ummm...... code 16 is fuel injectors.

Clear that code up first, test the fuel injectors for pulse and pull them to see if any are leaking. That's where you should go next.
