Friends car progress - 55' Buick Special
Here are some pics i thought some of you guys might like, its a 1955 Buick Special that is being by one of my brothers friends. Looking pretty sick in my opinion

Wow I don't think I've ever seen one of those before.
Chops a little too low for my taste, but he did a really good job with it.
How much of a chop was it?
Did he French the headlights too or are they just missing the chrome and assembly right now?

Wheels are staying how they now i believe, for vegas car will stay bare metal, just with the chrome bumpers and trim added and the inset color will be more of a bronze metal. car drives around as is, its bagged and should be ready to go by this weekend. getting the windows made and finishing the rest up. oh and he did all the work himself

Not sure on the total chop height, and the headlights are not on the car yet.

But is he going to return them to stock style, or recess them and mold hte fenders so it looks like this?
I think frenching the headlights would look good on the car, I can see in the 2nd pic that the headlights protrude from the front fenders. I dunno just my .02 I love kustoms and hot rods.

Im not positive, il have to ask him for ya i believe for the show its going to in vegas the headlights will be stock style since he has a small time frame to get the car done.
