Should I change my suspension setup?
So here's the deal, any feedback on this would be helpful. So my current suspension is tokico illuminas and ground control springs. It all started when I busted one of my rear shocks coming back late one night on the freeway. Since I have the tokico's, I managed to get them to send me out a new one. Now I've heard that it isn't good to have a new shock paired with an old one, but they wouldn't send me out two rear ones. I never noticed any noises from my suspension besides some creaks and groans from the thing being stiff, but last time I was home driving my car, the strut that I had replaced was making a lot of noise, like a rubbing creaking noise. I'm at school so I haven't had a chance to figure out what it is. I'm thinking either, the guy that installed it for me messed something up, or my suspension is just screwed from me replacing the parts unevenly. So basically I'm looking at this. I want to keep my ground control springs because they are good ****, but I'm wondering what to do for struts. I was thinking maybe upgrading to koni yellows. How do the koni's work with the GC's? (i searched but couldn't find it). From what I know, I need another adapter for them to fit properly, is that right? Do I get that from Koni, or from GC? Or would it be fine to go with the tokico's again? I didn't have any problems with them, but then again, I've never driven a car with the koni's. Also, do the koni's have a warranty like the tokico's? Feedback is what i'm looking for here. Thanks in advance.
Koni Yellows + Ground Controls =

GC adapters for Koni Yellows can be had from GC... like $15.
Your tokicos should be fine to run still.. maybe the rear susp is funked up, not the new shock.
tokicos are fine unless you are dropping your car like 3+ inches....
konis are lifetime guarantee against mfg defects... but the best part about Koni Yellows is that they can be shortened, revalved or made into double adjustable units ---> but for lots more $$$$$$$$$$

So you don't think the fact that I have a relatively new shock in the rear right and a 2 year old shock in the rear left will cause any problems. Because it probably woudn't be too much trouble to take it to a suspension shop and have them comb over my suspension to see if the struts are in there properly. Plus I wonder if they could do something to the bushings to stop a lot of the sqeaking and rubbing noises I hear.
So it's best to just keep my struts?
