no key
how much has it cost you guys to get a key made up? its for a 94 civic. i dont know if it makes a difference but i got AAA, they told me they'd cover up to 50 bux, but they couldnt tell me an exact price. thnx
Do you have the orgin key code tag its like a 4 digit number that was given to the original owner when they bought the car. If not take the vin number to to the dealer good luck. Some dealers ask for your id and registration on the car for your safety have them ready when you go
My story:
locked the key in the trunk, doors open.
I removed the gas tank lock from inside, down by the drivers seat, took it to a locksmith, no Walmart key-copy, real local keysmith. He made me a key using the lock. The key works even better that the original worn-out key. Cost me less that $20, don't remember, all I remember it wasn't expensive, which for me is anything above $50. Good luck.
