so it does matter what brand you get will the type r fit my ls and thats a front one right so i should get the front first??? is that the best to start with or what will make th bigest difference??? thanks
Make sure it's a genuine real OEM type-r and not a cheap knock-off "type-r" bar.
The ITR rear sway bar is supposed to make the biggest difference in handling. It's 22mm instead of the LS's 14mm. People with properly installed ITR sway bars are 100% satisfied. Ask around.

Personally I would go with the ITR rear sway bar first. I think is is the best bang for the buck in handeling. Beaks Products has a good kit with the bar and reinforcement plates. Check out his site.

Seriously though I would get the ITR sway bar with the beak kits like above guy said. But if your getting the front bar I would try and get Neuspeed even though it cost a lot. Anyways its your choice. Just remember you get for what you pay.

For a front bar, I like the Neuspeed. It bolts in 4 locations as opposed to 2, and it is one solid piece. The DC and others that are 3 piece are a waste of money IMO.

I don't know man, I got a cheapie $40 one off of ebay, How much could a hard piece of metal be? If it is built solidly, which mine was, then it will get the job done. I don't think there can be too much to making a bent, hard, piece of metal.
That is just my $.02, I think that the money can be spent in quality parts where it matters, I/H/E and other Ingine Mods :D

I paid $96 shipped for my bar, see below, and I am very happy with the results. If you don't have a front strut bar now, I'd suggest getting one...it does make a difference.

I've got an ITR front upper strut bar for sale. It's the real thing, not a knock off. I'll sell it to you for $85 plus shipping. Let me know. I can provide some good references from this board. email me, sluszcz@hotmail.com.

The LS does NOT have the bolts for the stock ITR bar to bolt up to.. keep in mind you will have to buy some. The Neuspeed ia a great bar, as is the Mugen (hehe), Skunk2, and Spoon.. as well as many others. As stated previously, you do get what you pay for. The knock-off's aren't as strong as the real thing, ever. Benen does not make a front upper bar. And to the best of my knowledge, there are no bars made for the 3rd gen integra that bolt to the firewall. to the best of my knowledge... An ITR rear sway bar will help tremendously. Good Luck.
